Four women, aged between 22 and 42, were arrested for offences under the Employment of Foreign Manpower Act during an enforcement operation against unlicensed massage establishments and public entertainment outlets.

The operation was conducted along Serangoon Road, Lavender Street, Jalan Besar, Coleman Street, Beach Road and Middle Road by Central Police Division on May 31.

Three unlicensed massage establishments were detected with one establishment allegedly found to be offering sexual services.

Three public entertainment outlets were also found to h ave contravened licensing conditions.

Four women who were allegedly working without valid work permits at these public entertainment outlets were arrested.

Actions will be taken against the operators for flouting the rules and regulations under the Public Entertainment Act and Massage Establishment Act.
